Wild Horses for Afar Magazine

Wild horses make up just 1.2% of the horse population in the United States, and Assateague Island remains one of the rare places where they can still be seen roaming free. I had the opportunity to photograph this remarkable landscape on assignment for AFAR magazine. The series was captured on 35mm and 120mm film, along with instant film using a NONS instant film back attached to a Hasselblad 500cm.
